RE:              Multiemployer Pension Plans

The Joint Select Committee on Solvency of Multiemployer Pension Plans is holding meetings to discuss the multiemployer pension system and it is important to contact your Congressional offices to urge support of the Butch Lewis Act (HR 4444/ S. 2147). The Butch Lewis Act is the only plan that will provide a path to financial health for troubled pension plans and ensure that retirees and future retirees receive all of the benefits that they earned.

Please contact your member of Congress and encourage them to adopt the Butch Lewis Act by going to change.org and searching "Support Butch Lewis". Click on the petition and fill out the form.

We cannot allow the pension system to fail. We can fix this!
Act today.

       ACT NOW TO

SAVE YOUR PENSION!!

As you already know, the decline in the unionized printing industry will cause your

pension fund to run out of money in less than four years and benefits being

sharply reduced.

However, there is a ray of hope. A bill has been introduced in Congress (H.R.

397) which will ensure pensions will continue to be funded. It won’t pass unless

the members of the House of Representatives know that your pension is critically

important to you and your family and must be saved.

Don’t let

this last

chance

pass us by.

Pick up the phone and call your representative:
